01. INTRODUCTION
Your host will meet you at the starting point where they will brief you on the game. You get to pick your partner(s) in crime so choose wisely because you’ll have to be observant.
There are four pubs in total, all within walking distance of each other. You can visit them in any order you like, but don’t get too cosy in your favourite because you only have three hours to visit all four.
02. GAMEPLAY
There will be four clues in each pub. That’s a total of sixteen clues to solve. Each clue consists of a two-line rhyming riddle, which relates to something you can see in the pub - a poster, or ornament, or statue.
The first line of the riddle usually lets you know the kind of item to look for, or a name to find, and the second line asks specifically for the answer, such as phone number or how many of something there are.
Additional to the riddles in each pub, there will be 4 items you have to try bring back with you to the finish line. But it’s not as easy as that, each item will have a cryptic description that you must first figure out what the item is.
03. CROWN YOUR WINNERS
Make your way back to the starting point before time runs out and submit your answers. Get ready to bask in your success or wallow in your losses as we crown our winners.
There can only be one winner and a tiebreak will be played in the case of a draw. Whatever the result, you will start your evening laughing.
